The dS MSK M 1.5T is a receive-only phased-array MRI coil for imaging the shoulder, knee, hip, foot and elbow. It is used with a compatible Philips 1.5 T MRI scanner to produce diagnostic images for interpretation by a trained physician.
The flexible coil assembly includes polyurethane foil, foam layers and a flexible circuit board. Its construction allows it to bend along slots so that it can fit around the anatomical region being examined.
System Role
The coil receives the MRI signal as part of the scanner’s imaging system. The medium musculoskeletal configuration has a different stated anatomical range from the smaller dS MSK S coil.
