EXPD 4343D is a digital flat-panel detector for general diagnostic radiography of human anatomy. It captures projection X-ray images electronically, replacing film or screen-based image capture in general-purpose procedures. It is not intended for mammography.
Incoming X-rays are converted to visible light by a caesium-iodide scintillator. An optical sensor collects the light, and thin-film transistors read out the resulting electrical signals. The detector converts the signals into digital data for image viewing, storage or transmission.
Detector Format
The EXPD 4343D uses an IGZO thin-film-transistor panel with a 17-by-17-inch detector format. Its digital image matrix contains 3072 by 3072 pixels.
