The EXPD 4357P is a flat-panel digital X-ray detector for general radiography. It converts incoming X-rays into visible light in a scintillator, then an optical sensor converts the light pattern into electrical charges representing the projection image. It is not intended for mammography.
Thin-film transistor circuitry reads the charges, and the signal is amplified and converted from analog to digital form. The detector sends image data to a console computer over a wired Ethernet connection for display, storage or onward transfer.
Panel and Integration
The EXPD 4357P uses an IGZO thin-film transistor panel and a cesium iodide scintillator. It connects with a general diagnostic X-ray system, with a synchronization interface available for coordinating image acquisition with the generator.
