The Radmedix AcuityDRe 1717w is a wireless digital X-ray detector used within the AcuityDRe radiography upgrade system. Qualified physicians or technicians use the system for diagnostic X-rays of adult and pediatric patients. It is not intended for mammography.
The detector works with acquisition software on a Windows operator console and a compatible X-ray generator supplied separately. The “w” model uses Wi-Fi to transfer image data; wireless models can operate from rechargeable batteries.
System Integration
The upgrade combines its detector and software with the existing generator, tubehead, mounting equipment and collimator. Software control of exposure settings is supported only for validated compatible generator models, including specified CPI and Sedecal series.
