The RFA-1717DIG is a digital flat panel X-ray detector for general radiographic imaging. It provides a 43 by 43 cm imaging area and connects by tethered gigabit Ethernet to an operating computer.
The DIG model uses a gadolinium based scintillator that converts X-rays to visible light. An IGZO photodetector array converts that light into electrical signals, which are digitized for image display and transfer.
System Integration
The detector must be integrated with a separate X-ray generator and computer. It is intended to replace film or screen based image capture for general diagnostic procedures and is not intended for mammography. The computer provides the associated image processing and display functions.
