Vivix-S with VXvue is a digital flat-panel detector system for general X-ray imaging of human anatomy. It combines a scintillator and amorphous-silicon photodetector array to convert incoming X-rays into electrical signals and digital images.
The detector operates with a computer and X-ray generator to display and transfer radiographic images. VXvue supports image processing, information management and sharing of image information over a network.
Imaging Area
FXRD-1417 models provide a 35.8 by 43 cm imaging area, while FXRD-1717 models provide 43 by 43 cm. The system replaces film or screen-based capture for general diagnostic procedures and is not intended for mammography.
