AXIR-CX displays and manages chest X-ray images for trained physicians, radiologists and medical technicians. It receives DICOM-compliant images from digital or computed radiography and allows the user to review them and add diagnostic annotations. It is not intended for mammography.
Users select an image from the patient list, enter annotations and then save, print or send the result to another PACS. The software runs on a compatible general-purpose computer and supports image storage and distribution alongside the displayed examination.
