BrainSpec Core is postprocessing software for analyzing magnetic resonance spectroscopy data. It supports single voxel spectroscopy and chemical shift imaging, providing metabolic information for interpretation by a trained physician alongside anatomical MR images.
The software fits spectral data and displays metabolite estimates, ratios, spectra, spectral maps and metabolite images. It can spatially register the spectroscopy volume to anatomical images so the sampled tissue location can be reviewed.

Integrated Review
Side by side and synchronized displays combine spectroscopy results with MR images. The fitting algorithm reduces manual processing, and selected metabolite ratios may be compared with reference percentile data when an appropriate reference interval is available. Results assist the diagnostic process.
