Dolphin Blue Imaging 2.0 captures, stores and presents patient images for specialized dental practices. It supports diagnosis, treatment planning and case presentation, with results interpreted by trained, licensed practitioners. The software manages two-dimensional dental images and radiographs.
Its tracing module lets the user identify cephalometric landmarks on a suitable image. The relative positions of those landmarks generate tracing lines and measurements for orthodontic or surgical planning. A measurements module calculates values for the selected cephalometric analysis.
Comparing Studies
When multiple radiographs have digitized landmark data, their tracings can be superimposed to show anatomical changes or differences. The overlays are viewed and adjusted within the software interface.
