Neosoma Brain Mets is software for semiautomatic segmentation of previously diagnosed brain metastases on contrast-enhanced T1 MRI. It uses an artificial-intelligence model to delineate the known lesions and produces colour-coded contours.
Volumes are calculated from the segmentation output through separate post-processing. The software requires the T1 post-contrast sequence and is intended for adults aged 22 or older with brain metastases.
Clinical Review of Outputs
The contours can support workflows including generation of gross tumor volume for radiation-oncology planning. A qualified professional must confirm or modify them in an external DICOM-compatible viewing or treatment-planning platform. The software preserves the original MRI and is not intended to detect tumors for diagnosis.
