Neurophet SCALE PET version 2.0 analyzes brain MRI and PET images to help clinicians assess neurodegenerative disease and cognitive impairment. It registers and combines images, displays brain structures and calculates regional tracer uptake measurements for physician review.
The software segments brain structures and compares uptake in a region of interest with uptake in a reference region to calculate a standardized uptake value ratio. It can convert the ratio to a Centiloid value for amyloid assessment.
Inputs and Review
The software accepts DICOM images from three dimensional T1 weighted MRI and amyloid or FDG PET examinations. Its processing pipeline includes artifact correction and report generation. Automated checks assess tissue contrast, scan protocol and atlas alignment; a trained physician must review the results.
