PVAD IQ analyzes cardiac ultrasound clips from patients aged 18 years or older with a percutaneous ventricular assist device. It identifies the aortic annulus and device inlet and calculates the mean distance between them to support physician assessment.
A machine learning algorithm also classifies whether both landmarks are adequately visible for quantitative measurement. The software processes transthoracic echocardiography clips and displays measurements or a notice when a clip is unsuitable.
