The medium DeltaWave Nasal Pillow System channels pressurized air from a CPAP or bilevel device to the patient’s nostrils. It is intended for adults weighing at least 30 kg who have been prescribed positive airway pressure therapy and is reusable by one patient at home.
The nasal cannula connects to the therapy device through tubing and a swivel adapter. Small vents in the cannula act as exhaust ports. A head strap and retainer bars hold the interface in place.
Operating Range
The system is supplied nonsterile and uses a 22 mm tubing connection. Its specified pressure range is 4 to 20 cmH2O. The medium nasal pillow has a specified dead space of 19.5 mL.
