VOCSN-VC provides mechanical ventilation and cough assistance in one portable system. Its ventilation function supports pediatric and adult patients weighing at least 5 kg, using invasive or noninvasive interfaces. It is intended for home, hospital, institutional and transport settings.
A microprocessor controls a radial blower, valves and sensors to deliver positive-pressure breaths. For cough assistance, the system applies positive airway pressure followed by a rapid change to negative pressure. This generates expiratory flow to help patients who cannot cough or clear secretions effectively.
