BreathePal Bilevel provides noninvasive breathing support using different pressures for inhalation and exhalation. A microprocessor-controlled blower supplies higher inspiratory pressure and lower expiratory pressure, with an option for continuous positive airway pressure.
Integrated pressure and flow sensors detect breathing patterns and guide pressure delivery. The interface allows adjustment of clinical settings and displays therapy data, while alarms identify problems such as large leaks or system faults.
Intended Patients
The device is intended for adults weighing more than 30 kg with obstructive sleep apnea and respiratory impairment. It can be used at home or in clinical settings, including hospitals, sleep laboratories and subacute care institutions.
