Attain LDS is a left-heart delivery system that provides access through the coronary sinus for balloon catheters or cardiac leads. Its guide catheter creates a route for a transvenous device, with a dilator that helps the catheter pass through the access path.
The delivery-system configuration combines guide catheters with a guidewire, valve and slitter. The guidewire helps establish venous access, the valve limits blood loss during implantation, and the slitter allows the guide catheter to be removed after delivery.

Catheter Construction
The guide-catheter shaft has an inner liner and outer jacket with an encapsulated wire braid between them. A radiopaque distal tip supports fluoroscopic imaging, while the proximal hub connects the catheter with other devices used in the procedure. Catheter shapes and lengths vary across the Attain configurations.

Recalls
1 of these is Class I. Class I is the FDA’s most serious grade: a reasonable probability of serious injury or death. Class II means a temporary or reversible health consequence. Volume alone is not a quality signal: a manufacturer that ships more recalls more.
