Odyssey Micro Catheter supports guidewire placement and exchange in the coronary and peripheral blood vessels. It can also assist with the infusion of contrast media. Its intended use excludes the blood vessels of the brain.
The clinician manually advances the catheter over a compatible guidewire through a compatible guiding catheter to the target region. Its single channel has a PTFE liner surrounded by a metal coil and an outer polymer layer.
Distal Construction
The distal tip is made from a radiopaque polymer. A hydrophilic coating covers the distal 30 to 60 centimetres of the catheter. The device is supplied sterile and is disposable.
