The Shadow Catheter supports and aims steerable guidewires in coronary and peripheral arteries. It facilitates guidewire placement and exchange, two-guidewire procedures and delivery of diagnostic or therapeutic agents to selected vascular regions.
Its two full-length lumens carry a tracking guidewire to the distal port and a positioning guidewire to a side port. Rotating or orienting the handle adjusts the direction in which the positioning guidewire exits.

Configuration and Compatibility
The catheter is compatible with 0.014 inch guidewires and a guiding catheter of at least 6 French. The distal nosecone has a hydrophilic coating and three radiopaque markers for fluoroscopic visualization. It is sterilized using ethylene oxide.
