Central Station is software for displaying, recording and printing physiological data from compatible Nihon Kohden bedside monitors and telemetry equipment. Installed on a commercial computer, it provides trained medical personnel with remote monitoring in professional medical facilities. It communicates over the Nihon Kohden NET-9 network.
The screen shows waveforms, numerical measurements and trend graphs, with parameters colour-coded. Alarm indications reflect decisions made by the connected monitors or telemetry equipment. Central Station displays those alarms without independently judging alarm conditions or processing the received physiological data.
Listed Item
Central Station is a network device, intended to display, record and print monitored physiological data from Nihon Kohden bedside monitors, telemetry receiver and/or transmitters.
Patient Records
Users can admit and discharge patients on the network, review historical clinical data, store and transfer records, and print patient information. Real-time views include vital signs, waveforms and alarms supplied by the compatible connected devices.
