The GEM Premier 7000 iQM3 PAK is a cartridge containing the analytical components used by the compatible critical care blood analyzer. This blood gas and co-oximetry configuration supports measurements of pH, carbon dioxide, oxygen, hematocrit, and hemoglobin-related parameters in lithium-heparinized whole blood.
The cartridge contains sensors, an optical cell, sampling and pump tubing, a distribution valve, a waste container, and process control solutions. Its stored configuration determines the analyte menu and permitted test volume. The PAK operates as a closed analytical system.
