CORE-INJECTOR is a disposable endoscopic injection needle for delivering medication or dye in the gastrointestinal tract. It is used with an endoscope for applications including variceal injection and submucosal marking.
A stainless steel needle connects to an inner tube, outer sheath and handle with a slider. A syringe containing the injection solution attaches at the handle. The outer sheath is polyethylene and has a 2.3 mm outer diameter.
Needle and Working Lengths
Needle options are 23 or 25 gauge, each with a 4 mm needle length. Working lengths are 1200, 1600, 1800 or 2300 mm. Each device is supplied ethylene oxide sterilized in a sealed pouch for single-patient use, with no reuse or resterilization.
