The Uroplasty Rigid Endoscopic Needle delivers injectable materials into tissue during endoscopic procedures. It is used as an accessory to an endoscope with a working channel inner diameter of at least 4 French, providing an injection pathway under endoscopic visualization.
The assembly combines a stainless steel cannula and needle tip with a copolyester luer lock hub. The hub connects to the syringe used for injection. The family includes cannula lengths of 300 to 500 mm with 18 to 23 gauge tips.
Injectable Materials
The injected material depends on the procedure and may include tissue bulking agents, sclerosing agents, local anesthetics, saline or contrast media. The needle is supplied sterile and is intended for a single use.
