The AUTOLITH TOUCH and URO-TOUCH extender cable connects a disposable bipolar lithotripsy probe to its matching base unit. It carries the electrical pulses used by the system to fragment stones under endoscopic visualization. TOUCH is used for biliary stones, while URO-TOUCH is used for renal stones.
The base unit generates high-voltage pulses that pass through the connected cable to the probe tip. Discharge at the probe in normal saline produces hydraulic shockwaves. The cable provides the electrical link; the disposable probe delivers the discharge near the stone.
Listed Item
Extender cable for use with Autolith Touch and Autolith Uro-Touch Lithotripters
Connection Check
The base unit prevents high-voltage discharge when an extender cable and probe are not properly connected. The cable is a separate accessory from the disposable probes and the pneumatic footswitch.

2 of these are Class II. Class II means a temporary or reversible health consequence. Volume alone is not a quality signal: a manufacturer that ships more recalls more.
