The Extraction Basket is a sterile endoscopic accessory for removing biliary stones or foreign bodies. A metal-wire basket assembly works through a sheath and handle, with the basket selected for the access route and target.
One configuration passes through a duodenoscope and uses fluoroscopic imaging in the bile duct. Another passes through a choledochoscope and captures stones under direct endoscopic visualization.
