VedBasket is an endoscopic retrieval device for removing biliary stones and foreign bodies. A wire basket opens outside its outer tube to capture material, then retracts through handle movement.
The assembly includes a stainless steel guiding head and pulling wire, a stainless steel or nitinol basket, a PTFE outer tube and a handle. Different basket shapes and single- or two-hand handle styles are available.
Endoscope Compatibility
Configurations differ in tube diameter, working length and basket opening width. The selected device must fit the endoscope’s accessory channel. The listed family includes 2.3 mm tube configurations with 30 or 35 mm basket openings. These sterile, single-use baskets are not compatible with mechanical lithotripters.
