The freeflex+ Transfer Adapter is a single-use fluid-transfer device for reconstituting or mixing a drug in a vial and transferring it into a freeflex+ IV bag. The FDA filing identifies this adapter and specifies use with standard drug vials having a 20 mm closure.
The adapter connects through the bag medication port and vial before administration. Its described components are a body, male Luer lock and safety ring.
