Vial Adapter with Filter transfers and mixes drugs in vials using a connected Luer syringe. A plastic piercing spike enters the vial septum, and the housing snaps around the vial ferrule for a secure connection.
The single-use adapter incorporates a filter and female Luer fitting. Components use polycarbonate, polyethylene and acrylic or polyamide materials, with 13 mm and 20 mm formats for corresponding vial sizes.
