The SOL-M 1 mL Slip Tip Syringe without a needle injects fluids into, or withdraws fluids from, the body when connected to an appropriate needle or other compatible connection. It is a sterile, single-use piston syringe with a low dead space design.
The syringe has a polypropylene barrel and plunger with an isoprene rubber stopper. Moving the plunger advances or withdraws the stopper within the barrel to displace fluid. The slip tip provides a Luer slip connection. Silicone lubricates the syringe components.
Dead Space
The subject syringe has a maximum specified dead space of 0.02 mL. This listed configuration is supplied without a needle and has no needle safety mechanism.
