Nebulae SRS Pump drives a laparoscopic smoke-removal system that recirculates carbon dioxide from the pneumoperitoneum through filtration and back to the patient. Its purpose is to remove combustion particles and improve visualization during surgery.
The mains-powered pump has a microprocessor and DC motor that drives a diaphragm pump within a dedicated disposable tubing cartridge. The gas path includes fluid traps and an ULPA filter with activated carbon.
Tubing and Placement
The sterile, single-use set includes 10 feet of DEHP-free PVC tubing and two trocar connectors. The pump rests on a level surface or mounts to an IV pole with an accessory bracket; an optional inline warmer can warm recirculating gas.
