The Newclip Large Screws range uses screws and washers to fix fractures, pseudarthroses, fusions and osteotomies in adults. Applications include the foot and ankle and medium or large bone fragments such as the radius, humerus, femur and tibia.
The implants are Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy meeting ASTM F136 and ISO 5832-3. Screw and washer components form the implant portion of a range that also includes dedicated instruments and sterile kit options.
Implants, Instruments and Kits
Implants may be supplied gamma sterilized or nonsterile for sterilization before use. Instruments are generally supplied nonsterile; additional sterile instruments and single-use Initial S kits containing implants or instruments are gamma sterilized. The selected configuration determines the pack contents and sterile status.
