The Airbile-100 is a battery-powered mobile X-ray unit for diagnostic radiographic exposures of adults and children. Trained doctors or technicians use it for examinations of body areas including the skull, spine, chest, abdomen and extremities, including during hospital rounds.
A high-voltage generator accelerates electrons from the X-ray tube’s cathode toward its anode target, producing X-rays. The operator sets exposure conditions such as voltage, current and irradiation time, and activates the exposure with the hand switch.
Image Acquisition
The unit does not include an X-ray detector. A separate compatible detector is required to acquire the radiographic image while the Airbile-100 provides the X-ray exposure.
