The Inno-Hydrowire guides a catheter to a selected location in the vascular system during diagnostic or interventional procedures. Its nickel-titanium core is covered by a Pebax jacket containing barium sulfate for X-ray visibility and a hydrophilic coating over the wire.
The wire is manually advanced and controlled, with a torquer attached to its proximal end to assist rotation. Standard and stiff shafts are available, with straight or angled distal tips and a 3 cm flexible tip segment.
Use and Supply
The guidewire is supplied sterile in an individual dispenser package and is intended for single use. It is not intended for coronary or neurovascular procedures.
