The Origin Coxa Vara Hip Stem is a femoral component for hip replacement, designed with a collar and shallower neck angle for coxa vara anatomy. It is intended for cementless fixation where sufficient bone supports the implant.
The titanium alloy stem is straight and tapered, with a lateral chamfer to assist insertion. Vertical and horizontal grooves resist axial and torsional loads. Hydroxyapatite coating covers the region below the resection line.
Hip Reconstruction Indications
The hip replacement range addresses degenerative or inflammatory joint disease, avascular necrosis, deformity, traumatic injury and failed previous hip surgery. The Coxa Vara stem provides the femoral stem portion of that reconstruction, with other compatible components completing the joint.
