CT LVAS, also called CT:V, analyzes paired chest CT scans taken during inspiration and expiration to quantify lung ventilation in adults. It provides physicians with a report of regional and global ventilation to support assessment of lung function or respiratory conditions.
The software identifies and segments the lungs, then tracks tissue movement at thousands of points in three dimensions. It derives ventilation measurements from tissue displacement and the change in lung volume between the paired scans.

CT LVAS (CT:V) software is a non-invasive image processing technology that utilizes a paired inspiration-expiration CT to quantify and visualize regional and global ventilation within the lungs. The device provides physicians with additional clinical data to support management of pulmonary disease. Quantification and visualizations are provided in the form of a report.
Report Workflow
Noncontrast DICOM image series are transferred electronically to the cloud-based analysis service. The completed analysis returns quantitative measurements and colour maps of ventilation to the requesting physician.
