This disposable polyp snare removes polyps or other excess tissue from the digestive tract through an endoscope. It can cut with or without high frequency current, depending on the selected technique.
The instrument has a handle, tube and wire loop. Operating the handle extends or retracts the loop from the tube so it can surround and resect the target tissue. The loop is stainless steel, with a PTFE tube sheath.
Loop Selection
Available loop shapes include oval, crescent, hexagonal, rhombus, dual width oval and polygonal configurations. The device is supplied sterile for a single use in healthcare facilities and is not intended for infants or young children.
